Before I pick up the scissors, I look at the shape of the jaw, the width of the forehead, where the cheekbones sit and how the hair grows out of the scalp. A women's haircut appointment runs 90 minutes. That time is divided between consultation, wash, cut and finish. Nothing is rushed. If you have questions during the cut, ask them — that conversation is part of how the result gets better.

5. A Cut for Your Routine, Not a Trend

Trend-driven cuts look correct in a photograph and require specific styling to stay there. Visagism produces a cut that looks correct on its own, with the products and time you already have.
